ABOUT ME

Let me introduce myself Ā

Sue Ingram

Leadership development expert, author and speaker

Before setting up my own business in 2000, my background was in HR within the City of London and sales environments followed by leading a motivational study with the long-term unemployed.

Since then, I have worked alongside leaders in organisations such as Airbus, BP, BAE Systems, Babcock, Hitachi, SpaMedica, Bladeroom, and universities across the UK - supporting them with the real, human challenges of leadership.

For 11 years, I was an Honorary Teaching Fellow with Lancaster University, where I supported their World Class Leader Programme and coached on leadership development programmes for SME business owners and entrepreneurs. My workshop, Leading Difficult People, was delivered as part of the University’s MBA for four years.

I am also the author of Fire Well – How to Fire Staff so They Say Thank You, a practical guide for leaders navigating one of the hardest responsibilities of leadership, moving failing people out of the organisation.

I believe leadership is about becoming yourself as a leader - real, grounded, and therefore trusted.

When leaders shift who they are being, teams shift how they behave.
